Uncover Skincare is a community-built skincare brand from Kenya that makes skincare products with Africa in mind. The products are formulated by experts, backed by science and made in the world’s top skincare labs. The company harnesses the best K-Beauty skincare technology with African botanicals. The business has raised two successful rounds of seed funding, most recently closing $1M in year 2 to scale across Africa.

I created and implemented marketing strategies for successful brand launches in Kenya and Nigeria as a marketing and content consultant. I also wrote 60+ data-heavy SEO optimized blogs, guided content creation teams and engaged in affiliate marketing. I monitored responses via the website and social media and contributed to garnering a community of 80K+ women in 3 sub-Saharan emerging markets and a 30% increase in lead generation from Q3 2021 to Q3 2023.
